Terra Bruce Productions proudly presents the debut of its latest musical, An American Hymnal based on an original concept by Walter Schroeder. Featuring an all Canadian cast of 17 incredible actors, Terra Bruce Productions has assembled an all star team for their latest new musical. Having brought to life 3 new musicals over the last 2 years, Terra Bruce Productions has begun to cement itself as the premiere producer of new Canadian musical theatre. After a successful run at the Majestic Theatre in Newfoundland, An American Hymnal finishes its debut run at Hamilton’s historic Theatre Aquarius. 

The cast is lead by Connor Lucas (Anne of Green Gables - Charlottetown Festival) and Ruth Acheampong (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical - Segal Centre/RMTC), featuring Kelly-Ann Evans (We Will Rock You - Mirvish), Matthew G. Brown (To Kill a Mockingbird - Stratford) and many more.

An American Hymnal synopsis:

1955. Chicago. Father Paul Barry is a fish out of water, having just landed on American soil from Ireland. On the busy streets of the New World he encounters Dinah, an aspiring jazz singer who leaves a lasting impression on him. We follow their journeys over the decade, full of love, loss and hope, set to the hymns and hits of the times. An American Hymnal features an incredible score, featuring songs like "Only You", "Midnight Special", "Morning Has Broken", "How Great Thou Art".
