Toronto: Aluna Theatre presents “Caminos 2019” October 3-13

ALUNA THEATRE presents CAMINOS 2019 - a festival of new work by Pan-American, Indigenous and Latinx artists, running October 3 – 13 at Aki Studio and Artscape Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas St. E).
New for the 2019 edition is a special opening weekend (October 3 - 5) presentation by Native Earth – Force Majeure and international guest artist Ghenoa Gela (Torres Strait Islands) share Mura Buai (Everyone Everyone), a showcase of her work with Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island. Gela’s collaborative journey will travel from the Big Medicine Studio to the National Arts Centre to Toronto, for final showings at the Aki Studio.
The festival then continues October 9 - 13 with a different offering of works-in-development each day and Aluna’s popular late-night cabaret programming follows on October 10 and 11 at 9:30 pm and October 12 at 9 pm.
